Hello All,
I have a large 3D scan that I am working with, and trying to build a basic skeleton structure around it. So creating a few sketches and datum features (planes & axis). Now here is the issue. If I redefine any of those features, any reference to the scan has a "frozen reference" note in front of the reference/feature name (see attached image). Been using Creo (Pro/E) for over 30 years and I have never seen anything like this. If the reference was missing, I would get it. But it's not missing. What gives? Not sure how to fix this.
BTW, using Creo 10
TIA,
Victor
Thanks for the response.
The geometry is being created in the same model as the mesh (scan import geometry). It's not a living mesh (changing with each regen) It's no different than an imported STEP file. But yes, I am referencing facet vertices. Nothing is moving or changing within the imported geometry. It's dumb geometry.
What does the GRV dependency map show when checking the frozen refs? Facet geometry is not the same as STEP import geometry.
