Is it possible to export 3D annotations from Creo 3.0 into a stp file? Want to make it visible in another CAD software ...

Hi,

in https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS134385 I can see this information:

intf3d_out_annotations

intf3d_out_parameters

STEP

For annotation and parameter export support, set config.pro option step_export_format to ap203_e2 or ap214_is​

  • ​In Creo Parametric 4.0 use an Export Profile to set the Application Protocol to ap203_e2, ap214_is​, or ap242_e1 and check the boxes next to Annotations and Parameters

Note: I did not test the above information.

    It is working..

    but it is showing all annotations in one view.

    is it possible to split the annotations into different sheets similar to the creo model.

    When I bring step file into Creo View, I do NOT see any of my annotations. How do you get them so they are visible.
