How to show text instead of dimensions without overwriting?

2 ways :

Go to the properties of the dimensions and override the @D with @O "your text"

or

Go to the properties of the dimensions, select the option "tolerance value only", then go to the display tab, and add your text after the @D

You can also use "show dimension symbol" by adding &S and changing your Dimension name,(X in my eg) and adding the required text is suffix or prefix column..
