Hi Ganesh...

Unfortunately you usually don't get any sort of model tree from imported models like STEP and IGES. Even with PTC's specialized importers you don't get anything but a bulk solid. Your best bet would be the Reverse Engineering Extension to use the import as a means of rebuilding a Pro/E model. The Feature Recognition Tool is the future of imported models but that doesn't help you today.

In an extreme pinch you can remodel "on top of" the imported geometry. Open an assembly and add the import. Start a new Pro/E part and add it to the assembly, too. Activate the Pro/E part and model in the part at the assembly so you can mimic the features of the original import. Use the analysis tools to reveal any missed pieces.

Short of having you send the PTC Community the model and having one of us use the FRT on it, I don't know what else to suggest.

😞
