Hello All,
I am working on a concept which has various possibilities, so I thought I would use view manager to set up to display each one.
All the concepts have around 30 parts, and 90% of the parts are all the same and in the same position. So I want create each view from the Master Rep using Include all,
Then exclude parts I don't want.
But if I then have a new variation for which I add extra parts these get added to the Reps I have already set up. How can I set it so any new parts don't get added to Reps I have created?
It is far too much clicking to set each rep to Exclude everything, then go in and put the 90% of common parts in.
(On that note is there an easier way to Include or exclude groups of items? Seem odd I can't use Ctrl or Shift to highlight multiple items I want to exclude or include.)
Thanks
.
You could create one simplified rep using the default rule as exclude, set all common parts. Then copy that simplified rep as many times as needed. Now set the final 10% of your parts, this way all your simplified reps will have the default rule exclude and no new parts will end up in your existing reps.
