Patterning patterned group of features

Hi

Is it possible to pattern patterned group of features in Creo?

Patterning grouped patterns is possible in general but it does not help in this case because chain of reference patterns cannot be successfully built in this case. Reason is that Creo can't recognize two chains of references needed to fully locate sketched shape that is moved based on reference point and inclined by plane at same time when patterning.

It is possible, without seeing the model you are working on it is difficult to determine the issue. You have to be disciplined when creating the references. It may not be possible to use a reference pattern to "locate sketched shape that is moved based on reference point and inclined by plane at same time when patterning" but it is possible to pattern this in Creo.

A sketch feature can directly locate and orient your sketch. Here is an example model (Creo 4) to demonstrate this. In this example, a master sketch is defining the location and orientation. This can then be used to drive a point pattern of a sketch. This is not ideal if you have a large # of pattern members but is an option. If this does not resolve your issue, please post a more detailed explanation of your design objective and requirements for patterns to achieve it.
