Prescribed temperature to a beam element

Hi,

is possible to assign to a beam element a prescribed temperature load in thermal mode? This beam was created by selecting a point and selecting a surface projection, not by selecting a line.

The prescribed temperature has to be applied to the underlying geometry you built your beams on.

  • Point
  • curve
  • surface


In your case you have points. You have to choose a point. You cannot apply it to the element in any other way.
