Just wanting to get a feel of how others are incorporating 2D schematics into Pro/E drawings.
We have a need to show a simple shemetic as one of the sheets in a Multi-sheet Pro/E drawing.
Currently, we draw the schematic in AutoCAD and insert it into the drawing as an Autocad Object. This has had inconsistent results. We have a seat of RSDesigner lite, but that seems to be overkill for what we are trying to do.
Someone has suggested creating all the symbols in Pro/E, and creating the schematic in Pro/E 2D mode... but think I would rather subject myself to water torture.
Any feedback/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
David
I like to do them in Visio which has a gigantic library of ISO symbols for mechanical systems and then dxf it onto the application drawing in ProE.
