Showing cosmetic threads as hidden lines in cross sections???

I'm on creo 3 M130

I have a cross section thru a thread where the section is planar to the thread axis and the threads will not show.  I haven't changed the config.pro settings since it DID work in creo parametric / pro 5.0, and I've since played with all the applicable ones I can think of and they still won't show up.  The threads show up in another non-sectioned view where the end of the thread is cut at an angle where it intersects the side of the model, but not this view.  Pretty annoying.  Anyone else having issues like this?
