Unable to place end plates against a round wall.

Why am I not able to place end plates at the end of beams against a round wall? As you can see in the second photo it works on a flat wall. Thank you.

You can attach it to a round wall with a tangent constraint.  Constraining it to a round surface can be a bit tricky because Creo does not know which side of the surface to attach to.  I found it easier to define the vertical and horizontal constraints first.
