Question

User Defined Analysis Parameters

I am new to Creo (using Creo 7) and I recently discovered the User Defined Analysis function and I am trying to better understand how to use it. I created a cross section property analysis, which gives me cross sectional area, center of gravity, inertia tensor, polar moment of inertia, section modulus, etc. When setting up the user defined analysis, I am able to select cross sectional area, CG and inertia tensor values however data such as polar moment of inertia and section modulus are not available. Is there any way to obtain these in a UDA?

Thanks for any help

I assume that you have the BMX module license since you are creating a UDA. If you do not have BMX then I do not think UDA are supported.

If you have BMX and create the section analysis you will need to select items in  in the feature tab as seen below to be able to access the parameters within the feature. Select the box for anything you want access to.
