How do you change the color of a part in WF 5.0?? The "Color and Appearance" option under the "View" menu is gone!

Peter it is a pain the new system on the top menu, you will find a icon for a drop down menu which consist of a ball the color of the current part. When you drop it down you will see the pallette of colors. at the bottom of this drop down menu is the color appreance manager tab when you finish seleceting the color the menu will close and the ball icon will now display the selection, clcik on it, a paint brush appears, you can either select sections of the part or part name in the model tree and then click ok to accept The old way was much easier

there is an easier way. if you want to change the color of the whole part and not the surface. click the part name (xxx.prt) on the model tree. then click the drop down menu for colors. pick your desired color to change the color of the whole part.

You can assign an appearance to the entire part by selecting it. It doesn't have to be surfaces only.
