Weld material Question

dear all

I am using Creo 2 and have a Question about Welding.

I defined a weld material and assigned a material from the database

The Mass of the weld is not there.

i assigned a diameter and a lenght , But wat lenght do i asign ,the wire lenght or the weld lenght?

Can anyone tel what i do wrong?

Hi Rob,

you need to set a cross section, for example a ASM_RIGHT or so, or you can create a Datum in the ASM and use it as a cross section. You also need to set the Weld Material in the options.

If you did all that check the mass of your assembly, the mass of the weld is now included.
