As shown in image I want to draw a part.

Part includes external skeleton model (called out by merge/Inheritance feature).

I want to minimize the area shown with yellow color.
It should be as per Desh line (green color).

I have tried with partial view, but it shows the error after increasing the side of component beyond the defined boundary.

Is there any settings which change the area based on hidden item?

Here skeleton model is called out by merge because I want to call the dimension in drawings, by import geometry, dimensions did not appear.

Your geometry reference point for the partial view has to stay inside of the the sketched spline for the partial view.

Is there any other solution?
I don't want to draw with partial view.

I don't know of any other way to change the view boundary size.

Hi,

please explain why do you want to minimize the area shown with yellow color. It is only consmetics.

The reason is; while modifying the drawing, area gets overlap. so, every time it requires to right click and select the require view.
For example, here if I will add top view then it will overlap with front view selection boundary.

Hi,

I hope you know that:

  • assign drawing view specific names
  • select drawing view from drawing tree
