export format for - integrate the 3D Vendor package in S3D as Reference 3D (S3D v2018, Oracle 19c.)

We have a customer who requires 3D models:

Objective: Get native S3D objects. The Contactor could send the SEED to a Vendor/Supplier to generate the package model. This model could be copied in S3D Contractor production plant.

Does Creo have the capability?

additional information:

For past orders we had, if there’s are requirement for 3D model of the pump package, we normally provide .igs or .step format only.

However customer is not accepting these, and they strictly requiring 3D model in either of following formats.

  1. FILE FORMATS

To integrate the 3D Vendor package in S3D as Reference 3D Contractor manage these options:

4.1 INTELLIGENT 3D PACKAGE MODEL

Intelligent 3D package model (supported by a Database).

4.1.1 S3D v2018, Oracle 19c.

Objective: Get native S3D objects. The Contactor could send the SEED to a Vendor/Supplier to generate the package model. This model could be copied in S3D Contractor production plant. The best option.

4.1.2 Smartplant Review v2022.

To provide “.VUE”, “.MDB” and “.MDB2” files. The files are belonging to the same Hexagon Ecosytem and Contractor could include the models in the Production Plant as a 3D reference. Second preference.

4.1.3 Navisworks. Simulate 2022

This application is outside of the Hexagon Ecosystem. This software is like Smartplant Review option, with the disadvantage of having to convert it before being able to integrate, and the possibility of graphic loss.
