Hello folks,
I'm a new user for Creo Schematics (specifically using Schematics Lite 12.0) and I've been trying to modify the sample catalog into a broader Template for my org to use, but I'm having trouble actually saving the Template file such that any of my changes actually stick.
My workflow is as follows:
Having done that I would expect that when I open a file and point to this newly created Template, the A3 sheet should have the logo and address but it doesn't.
What exactly am I doing wrong? The documentation on Schematics is sparse....
Cheers,
Boris

Hi Bak_1995,
It seems that should have worked, based on your workfkow. Did you modify the Design Templates for the sheets you wanted? And set the required properties (not sure if this is required)?
Hi Boris,
I think this might be because you are using Schematics Lite which is limited capability. Check documentation but you might need the full Schematics verison.
Hi KLittleJohn,
The documentation lists the following limitations of Schematics Lite:
None of this refers to the creation of Custom Templates for users. So either the list is incomplete, which is possible, or I'm doing something incorrectly which is also highly likely.

Hi klittlejohn,
I think I figured out what my issue was. When I was opening the sheets to look at them again, I was looking inside of the Catalog Explorer, which contains the generic sheet, instead of opening them in the Design Explorer. If I look in Design Explorer, then my template modifications are present when I go to open the relevant sheet size.
So this was a case of me misunderstanding how Schematics works.
Thanks for responding, your input helped me better understand how the workflow in Schematics ought to go more broadly.
