Issues with flexnetadmin 11.17.1.0

Hi there,
when I want to install flexnetadmin 11.17.1.0, a msgerror file is created in the folder with all files (see attachement). There are many messages there, all of them have the heading "Message DB wasn't loaded.".
In addition, the status remains permanently at "Being started...". ... but nothing happens.

Can someone help me? What is the reason for this? I need access to Creo Illustrate.

Hello,

 

I had the same issue as Jonas today, and I solved by first ending the lmadmin service from the services in windows, then uninstalling the existing Flexnet Admin program from the WIndows control pannel, then making sure that the entire folder "FLEXnet Admin License Server" is deleted from C:\Program Files\PTC. 
Once done, install the new lmadmin icense server.
refer to step 3 "Reinstall License Manage Server" under "Reinstall License Manager with version compatible with applications version, like Creo."
