In case of using a real number model parameter in a sketch text, the leading zero of a parameter whose value is less than 1 appears. Users may want to remove that zero from the text.

Metric dimensions or inch dimensions?

Metric dimension values less than 1 are required to have a leading 0 to show it is a small value. They do not have trailing zeros.

Inch dimensions do not use a leading zero, but do use trailing zeros to fill for decimal place tolerancing.

There are config.pro and *.dtl file settings to control leading and trailing zeros to conform to ASME Y14.5-2009.

Hi Ben,

Thanks for the comment. This is regarding user-defined model parameters, not dimensions. PTC tech support has informed me that current functionality does not allow the removal of that zero.

Regards,
