Uprising of a rail on the ground, only on one side

Hello

How can you represent this problem with Simulate:

A rail or a very long metal rod, say with a length of 25 metres, lying on the ground.

It raises the 2 meters on a side, what form take t - it.

What are the constraints of fixing.

You could use contact with some very stiff part that represents the ground.

If the problem is symmetric, use constraints to halve your model size.

Alternatively, use the same trick as in the document. Fully constrain left side, apply vertical displacement right side, and vary the length of the rail until the reaction force matches your force.
