Excel Analysis

Hello All,

Has anybody had problems when using Excel Analysis and linking feature dimensions to an excel file values? It works at first but later the program creates a temporary file (a copy of the original excel file) and stops updating the values...

Let mw know,

Thank you,

Refer to this previous thread. It explains how the Excel file is managed.

Hello,

First of all, thank you for your help.

I have a question regarding the thread you sent:

1. If I don't chanage the location nor the name of the file, why does creo create a temproary excel file? shouldn't it be always looking in the same path / name as default (and therefore find the original file I told the program to link the values to?)

Thank you

I do not know why the temporary files are generated. I would suggest opening a call with PTC support to get details on that.
