Peter,

Did you work with Chris Western @ tformat ? They just put on a 3b2
user meeting last week. I think it would be great if you all could
bring the whole "Arbortext" line together under one meeting.

    I'll absolutely do that:

Simon, do you want to write a guest post announcement for
    blog.single-sourcing.com?

This looks like the likely landing page:

    Hi Paul

Please wait a bit, I want to keep Uk events separate to Nordic events.

    Thanks

    Hi Pete, Liz, all

I agree it would be nice eventually to have the 'new family' together in a European meeting with multiple tracks as the integration gets tighter between the products and new 'full suite' users come on board. Indeed Pete and I had mentioned last year about putting our heads together in the future to bring them together.

The subject of opening up our recent APP meeting to be Arbortext wide did come up in discussions with PTC while i was planning the event. However as it had been so long since the last APP dedicated English meeting (2005) and there are still many specialised APP users out there, that it was decided this event should stay dedicated to APP and there was certainly more than enough content to be covered technically for the traditional APP users alone.

You may feel the Arbortext classic community needs a dedicate event also this time around, but I think it would be interesting to see what we could do in Europe in the future, especially as many of the European users would not have the capacity/budgets to get over to Florida!

    Best Regards
    Chris

Review from our APP event is online at www.tformat.com/appum2010/
