Color preferences not displaying

I searched for anyone else discussing this topic but did not find anything.

Most of us in our group of Arbortext Editor V5.4 M040 users are trying to use the colors to set different types content apart such as tag font color, generated text, text entity color (especially important to us), and object boundary color. However, the only colors that appear are black for regular text and the gen text color.

Any clues what might be keeping the others for showing?
