auto save in Arbortext Editor 6.0

The preferences have been set so that "auto save" runs every 10 minutes. Can anyone tell me where these files are being saved? Which folder? I'm trying to retrieve the files after Arbortext crashed.

I thought that these files would be saved in the folder called users\... \AppData\local\PTC\Arbortext\Editor\.aptcache.

Hi Kathleen--

Typically, autosave files are saved in the same location as the file you are editing, with the extension .asv.

But if you have a crash, the next time you start Arbortext and load the file you were working on, it should automatically detect the autosave file and prompt you about whether you want to use the saved version or the recovery (autosave) file. If it doesn't prompt you the next time you open the file, then it probably doesn't have an autosave file available.
