Bringing 3D Studio MAX files (.max extension) into Pro/E
Can someone tell me the easiest FREE method to convert 3D Studio Max files (with ".max" extensions, not ".3ds") into a format importable into WF2? There used to be a FREE utility (STL_UTIL) that allowed for the conversion from Max into Stl, but I can no longer seem to locate a working version of the software. I realize that there are a bunch of purchasable utilities to accomplish this, and if I had access to 3D Max this would be a non-issue as well. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
