Can't "edit definition" weird behavoir

Hi I am hoping someone can help me with this.

    Looks like these are read-only features. This function was in the Edit-Menu in Wildfire. As we haven't updated to CREO yet, I'm not sure, where to find it. Maybe the command searchshows you where.

    Features were set to read only status. You can remove this by going to
    Edit pull down. At bottom of pull down menu is "read only". Click it,
    then click "clean". That is how you do it in wf5.0 anyways...

    "In Creo, look under Model tab, Operations drop down menu for “Read Only”.
    “Clean” will remove read only from all features."
