Editing A Mirror?

I've created a mirror of a simple extrusion, but now want to add another extrusion to the mirror is this possible? Regards.

    highlight the mirror you have just done. Then right click and select edit definition. Making sure the feauture you are trying to add to the mirror is BEFORE the mirror feature hold down control and highlight the additional feature. Then hit the check mark and watch magic happen

    This doesn't seem to work for me. When I try to pick the additional feature I want to add to the mirror, it unselects the mirror plane and prompts me to pick a new one.

    when you use mirror option all feature should be on one side of plan or axis you used as reference.
