Hi,

Does anyone know how to remove the rest of a frame when it has been cut using another profile?

I am using PTC Creo Parametric 2.0.

In order to clarify the question I am including a picture below.

Cheers,

Enrique

why don't you use the bigger profile to cut ?

    Hi,

I guess you have used cutout feature. Remove it nad use common assembly cut (you can define its sketch using profile surfaces/edges and enlarge it to remove unwanted geometry).

You are right, that is one solution, but I am searching for a solution inside Advanced Framework Extension to not to lose any of the advantages of this tool.

    Thanks anyway.
