On the function of the sweep's tangent tab

Hello everyone
I will write for the first time.
I am not good at English, so I am sorry if there is a strange expression.

In the sweep command, there is a tangent tab, but I did not understand exactly what role it would play for this function.
If there are easy-to-understand illustrations and samples, would you please teach me?

I am sorry to trouble you, but thank you for your consideration.

Hello mbonka

Thank you for your help.

I was able to grasp about "tangent" in general by referring to the items from the movie that I received and PTCU.

Thank you very much.

Keep in mind also that there are 2 different directions for "tangent", as there are for "normal".  Depending on the boundary and what it picks, you could get some wonky results.

Hello FrankSSchiavone
Thank you for the supplementary information.
I'd like to check various patterns and change the pattern.

Thank you very much.
