Slot Connection

How do you create a slot connection? One that allows you to slide an object along a path but limiting it's travel by specifying a start and end point. I used to be abel to do this in 2.0, but am running Wildfire 3.0, M030.

    Anyone has information on where to find good and free ISDX (Interactive
    Surface Design) tutorials?

    I have access to PTC University from work (Lockheed Martin) but haven't
    found tutorials there.
