conversion of unigraphics file to pro-e

I would like some help to convert all our unigraphics files to pro-e.
We no longer have use of the unigraphics software and need to convert
them.
If anyone has any feedback on what software to use or what kind of success
you may have had it would be much appreciated.

Same problem here.

We are working together with a mouldmaker, using Unigraphics.

How can we open the Unigrapihics files in Pro E?

PTC has a UG/NX module that allows you to open a UG/NX file in Wildfire,
HOWEVER it requires a seat of UG/NX to operate.
The module is also expensive, ~10K less your discount.

UG/NX however has a module that can open Pro/E Wildfire files and does
not require Pro/E Wildfire on the workstation.
Pricing is similar.

So, if you only have Pro/E, then you need to get the vendor/supplier to
provide you a STEP or IGES file instead of a native one.
The alternative for a one off translation is to have a good friend in
the CAD community who can do it for you. Smiley Happy
