material files in WF3

Hey folks

WF3 has new material files that are used by WF and Mechanica but of
course they are causing issues - is there a way to convert our Old =
*.mat files to the New = *.mtl files?



I'll post a summary

    Dear Martin,

    In Wildfire 3.0 open a 'dummy' part, load your existing material (*.mat)
    files into the part, then write them out. They will change to *.mtl files in
    the process.
