start up error "Xerces Panic Error"

after installing AVG anti-virus software I now get the start up error "Xerces Panic Error. could not load a transcoding service" Pro-E won't start up now. anyone know what that means? Thanks in advance

    Also, if you do a search on the web using your error message as the search string... a BUNCH of different hits come up. Apparently this is not a unique error.

    Not really help, but we also run AVG and Wildfire 5.0 without that problem. Bruce
