Question from Anonymous: Is the Wizard only available in Creo 9?
Answer: The wizard was productized in Creo 6 but Simerics has backported it to Creo 4.0 if you are not on 6.0. It exists OOTB in Creo 6-9. Let me know if need it with Creo 4.0. I can show you where to download it.
Question from Dan: I see a second object that looks like a heatsink, and the controller being checked right now might affect temperature of that other object. Can we have two heat sources and obtain max template graphs both both objects at the same time?
Answer: Yes, you can show multiple graphs at the same time.
Question from Hugo: How do you control the mesh near the wall?
Answer: Cell Size on Surfaces setting.
Question from Hugo: Could you show the mesh, please?
Answer: Lino showed the Binary tree mesh - similar to a cartesean cut cell mesh but more efficient.
Question from Hugo: Sheet metal products require to have gaps to be manufactured, the larger the product, more gaps (corners, assembly...). Closing those gaps is very time demanding. If Creo Flow requires watertight models that will make it very difficult to reach. Do you have another strategy to tool to handle that?
Answer: Build the 3D volume by extruding and then extract the internal components from it.
Question from Hugo: Can we use the copy surfaces method when the geometry is not a solid? For example, when we import geometries from other software the geometry is kind of corrupted.
Answer: We can do a workshop with you on just Fluid Volume creation if you like. There are many different approaches.
Question from Stephen: What if the assembly is "supposed" to have holes there. How do these techniques work with this? Do I need to find these holes and set them as boundaries?
Answer: There is an "all volumes" approach that could be used.
