Question from Calvin: Can we get trained in a specific release? I.E. we have sites that are still in Creo 3&4. Most of our sites are on Creo 8.
Answer: Our virtual Instructor Lead Training courses are delivered using the latest version of Creo. Currently, that content is on Creo 8.0.1, and we are rolling out Creo 9.0.1 at the end of August. Core functionality of Creo is similar in Creo 4 to that of Creo 9. Of course there have been productivity enhancements to that core functionality, so those types of functionality would obviously not be applicable to a Creo 4 user. However, the workflow of, for example, the Extrude feature is identical in Creo 4 and Creo 9. Thus, even though you might learn the software in Creo 8/9, it is still very applicable to a Creo 4 user.
