Automation of PDF Generation process in Creo

Need suggestion on automating PDF generation process in PDM (Creo tool).

Normally PDF file will be generated once CAD file check-in with required modifications. Idea here is to automate PDF generation process once part is check-in. so that one more manual step for generating PDF can be avoided in Creo.

 

Kindly suggest on

I think it is possible to achieve on Windchill side using Creo View Adapters

Yes, Windchill can generate pdf while generating the representation after checkin automatically.

    You need to have CreoView publishing enabled and set up so Windchill can automatically publish your files upon check-in. We also republish them when submitted as part of a promotion request.
