Diameter Symbol keeps Legacy Style

Hi,

I have set following settings:

Model Properties /Detail option

  default_annotation_font arialn.ttf
  symbol_font ISO

same settings in drawing properties

All symbol come in arialn.ttf but only the diameter symbol (by pressing button add diameter symbol to dimension) stays in old legacy mode (see picture - only lines no ttf font)

Strange thing is  - when i manually add the diamter symbol as prefix it is correct (see second picture)

How can I fix this?

Hi,

symbol_font ISO must be set in drawing model, too.

Yes, its set ISO - but I still have this old Legacy Diameter.

Hi,

I guess that the old diameter symbol was added to dimension manually.

Martin Hanák

Yes, its set manually to the dimension via the dedicated menu button,

Hi,

you cannot expect that Creo will replace manually added special character automatically.

We ran into that issue as well. We ended up setting the model and drawing to:

symbol_font    stroked_asme

(To:llie)

symbol_font    stroked_asme - Doesnt change anything for me.

I set it to ISO by default

Can you create a dummy part and drawing and then share?
