Download Excel file from windchill using toolkit

Hi

 

TstExcl.xlsx file is checked in and available in windchill with version A.1. What we need to do is to download (without checking it out) this file from windchill to a temporary location on system path.

 

For download, We should set ProServercheckoutoptsReadonlySet() as TRUE and checkout argument for ProServerObjectsCheckout() API as false.

 

Question is regarding how to set of path to which we need to make copy of excel file.

Another query is regarding Excel file. Can we download from windchill with protoolkit or not?

It's confirmed that only cad models can be downloaded through toolkit (not excel or any non Creo models) through toolkit atleast for Creo 4.0.
Downloaded model comes to workspace only. from workspace, we can make copy to local system using API something like profilecopyfromws(). Not tested this API fully.
