IFX Drop-Down menu and error message when trying to assemble screw.

Question

Our company upgraded to Creo 9 recently. I had custom IFX files that worked fine with Creo 7 and now having some issues in Creo 9.

First when select the drop-down for the screw catalog, the drop-down expands across the whole screen.

Hi,

in IFX 9 we add a verification check of the relations after setting them.

The error might also occure in Creo 7.0 but there only no message was shown.

You can either change your *.dat file and add the missing BUW_NAME and BUW_TYPE and BUW_SIZE or you can change the param_releation.txt to you needs.

Regarding the other problem with the tabs.

You already have found the error by yourself.

You can use one or two tabs in the INFO value if you want to align some values in a extra column in you drop down.

But if you have too many tabs this might lead into display problems.

So I think this topic can be marked as solved.

Ok, I figured out the drop-down window issue. I had too many tabs after the INFO description.

The error I'm getting I believe is when I select the screw I want and then click OK, when Creo creates that instance it adds 2 relations which my models don't even have.
