System Environment - How to clean up toolkit remnants (?)

I need some help here. Any system experts can lend me a hand?

Long ago I loaded the toolkit with the install and since have not used it and left it off the install routine for subsequent Creo updates.

I always remove programs faithfully using the uninstall in Windows. If PTC could be that faithful, life would be good.

I find a lot of variable statements in my system environment that point to non-existent folders in my environment variables. The folder is still there, but the referenced subfolders and files are not.

Does anyone know if I can safely remove these variables without messing up a) Creo 2.0 or b) Creo Elements Express 4.0?

These are the entries I am concerned with:

MAN_CHM_INDEX=C:/PROGRA~1/PTC/MKSTOO~1/etc/chm/tkutil.idx;C:/PROGRA~1/PTC/MKSTOO~1/etc/chm/tkapi.idx;C:/PROGRA~1/PTC/MKSTOO~1/etc/chm/tcltk.idx;C:/PROGRA~1/PTC/MKSTOO~1/etc/chm/tkcurses.idx

MAN_HTM_PATHS=C:/PROGRA~1/PTC/MKSTOO~1/etc/htm/perl;C:/PROGRA~1/PTC/MKSTOO~1/etc/htm/perl/pod;C:/PROGRA~1/PTC/MKSTOO~1/etc/htm/perl/ext;C:/PROGRA~1/PTC/MKSTOO~1/etc/htm/perl/lib

MAN_TXT_INDEX=C:/PROGRA~1/PTC/MKSTOO~1/etc/tkutil.idx;C:/PROGRA~1/PTC/MKSTOO~1/etc/tkapi.idx;C:/PROGRA~1/PTC/MKSTOO~1/etc/tcltk.idx;C:/PROGRA~1/PTC/MKSTOO~1/etc/tkcurses.idx

NUTCROOT=C:\PROGRA~1\PTC\MKSTOO~1

...

ROOTDIR=C:/PROGRA~1/PTC/MKSTOO~1

...

TERM=nutc

TERMCAP=C:\PROGRA~1\PTC\MKSTOO~1\etc\termcap

TERMINFO=C:\PROGRA~1\PTC\MKSTOO~1\usr\lib\terminfo

...

Thanks
