XML dependancy tree

Hi,


We have a requirment to get an XML dependancy tree for an assmebly, This is for the pupose of transfering data from Pro/Engineer to other CAD. Is there any possiblity with Pro/Toolkit to get the XML for the Assembly model tree.

Hi Joseph,


This is possible by traversing the assembly components using protoolkit API's.

Thanks for the reply. Yes it is very much true that we can visit the assembly and we can write the XML ourself. I am looking some API or method will do this by itself.

You might want to try the API ProOutputFileWrite passing the type of PRO_BOM_FILE.
