How to avoid importing all tags when creating a device in Kepserver

Is there a way to avoid creating all tags when setting up a new device?

Right now my current workflow is to create all tags then go back into the system and delete tag groups / tags that the client is not using.  I was curious if there is a better way to do this?

I would still need to collect data on device, I just only need 1% of the tags created.  Support mentioned something about a csv import i could do for devices which I know the tags I want to import, I may try going that route until a better idea presents itself.

Hi, how about copying your device and set Data Collection to false. "Device > Properties > General > Operation Mode > Data Collection => false"

I think Kepware cannot disable each tags but we can disable the device.
