Kepware licenses required for OPC UA to MQTT Publish

Dear Team,

We are setting up Kepware to connect to an OPC UA server (e.g., Prosys/800xA) and publish selected tags into an MQTT broker at the Edge (Mosquitto).

I see that Kepware offers both the OPC Connectivity Suite and the IoT Gateway add-on. The product descriptions are a little confusing in terms of overlap, so I want to confirm:

  1. If my use case is strictly OPC UA → MQTT JSON payloads, is the OPC Connectivity Suite license sufficient?

  2. Do I still need the IoT Gateway license in addition to OPC Connectivity Suite for MQTT publishing?

  3. Is there any difference in MQTT support between these two (e.g., Sparkplug B, payload formatting)?

  4. Are there any tag limits for each of the two license suites ?
  5. For long-term production deployments, which is the recommended license bundle for OPC UA to MQTT?

Thanks in advance for clarifying!
