Simatic S7-1500 - OPC UA Client Alarms and Conditions

Hi all,

I have a KepwareEX V 6.15 Server connecting against several S7-1500 via OPC (OPC UA Client) now I would like to forward the SimaticAlarmsAndConditions (ns=3;i=1815) via KepWare to my alarm client. Is that possible? It seems that the needed type are not supported. Registering on that node I receive a BadMonitoredItemFilterUnsupported Error.

Hello,

The OPC UA Client driver is limited to the "Data Access" part of the OPC UA specifications
It does not implement profiles or facets specific to OPC UA Alarms and Events
On page 6 of the driver's manual it is documented which parts or the UA specification for client applications are supported
To request this functionality, please refer to How to open an Enhancement Request for PTC Kepware Products
