Hello All,
I have been working with Creo since Pro/Engineer 2001. Currently we are still running Creo 3.0 but have purchased a new Sodick Wire EDM. Realizing it was time for a CAM package, I decided to stick with PTC and add Production Machining Seat. I am running into some very basic issues being that there is very little documentation or tutorials available on this subject. The workflow is so far, incomprehensible to me. I have no clue how to get started, what is necessary to configure and what is not. There also seem to be only 3 options for machines in the post processor. I have never written a post and have no clue what is involved. I have not been successful in finding anyone that offers training in the manufacturing extension. I would greatly appreciate if anyone can help me get started specifically with Wire EDM functions. Thanks in advance, Chris.
