Issues trying to Reinstall

I was having problems with the MCDM converter and ran through a bunch of troubleshooting.  I finally got to the step of uninstall and reinstall.  Sadly, I have not been able to reinstall, getting 1% error.  I use this software often for school and I have a student license.  I am having trouble downloading the installation file also but got it on another computer.  Anyway I am going to take some snips of my screens and hopefully someone can tell me something to check to fix this.  I am getting stressed and desperate as I must have this software to complete my classwork.

The installer then sits here and does not download and after about 20 minutes fails and trying to restart it fails.  I have been trying to fix this for hours for the last three days and I am needing help soon.

 

I am hoping somone knows something else I can do or try, I have spent hours trying solutions for 1% problem, but I am not getting the executable file from the download because it barely gets anythingdownloaded.
