Mathcad prime 10 refuses to launch

Today, when I tried to open mathcad, nothing happens, not even the splash screen shows up. When I open task manager, I can see that the mathcad process starts for a few seconds and then it's gone. Already tried searching the community for similar cases but I didn't find anything that works. Please help me! I'm just getting in love with the productivity enhancement I get from mathcad!

Further info: no error messages appear, doesn't work when I try to run as admin, or when I restart my pc
