I would like to reinstall Mathcad 14.0 M020 on Windows XP in Oracle VirtualBox.
During the installation I first enter the product code: JW140906EA7617-V4WC-W9DP
When starting, Mathcad wants to have a licence file.
When I select the existing file, I get an OK at first.
But when I start Mathcad again I get:
The licence you have requested contains an errer.
When I try to activate Mathcad directly over the Internet I get:
The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.
Can you please help me.and send a new licence file.

Hi Paul,

First read this:https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad-Tips/Official-PTC-Mathcad-15-and-Prime-1-6-End-of-Sale-Announcement/ta-p/818870

Considering you do have a license file, you may stand a chance if you can make your virtual box mimic the MAC address of the PC originally used for the license. If you're lucky the MAC address that the license responds to, is stated in the license file...

If that fails, you are at the mercy of PTC.

Realise that is forum is for interaction between users of the software; your peer users cannot help you with your problem. You need to contact PTC support.

Success!
