I see one new in 3D Surface in Mathcad Prime 2.0 vs MathCAD 2.51 - Mathcad 15 - see the picture.

Do you know more!?

I know thats a rather old posting I am replying to here, but the subject is still of interest as its a long standing demand from the community that 3D plots should allow for NaN's similar to 2D plots (they also should ignore complex and erroneous function values).

Its good to see that it was tried to allow NaN's in 3D plots, but unfortunately it seems that they had the matter not thought through. If we turn on surface fill, the plot renders useless:

Furthermore a contour plot still does not support NaN's. We get a silly and wrong error message as of a number greater than 10^307.

Current version at the time of this post is Prime 3.0 F000.

Assuming that 3D and contour plots should support NaN's now, both issues have to be called bugs.
