Has anybody read the licens agreement in the install process? It appears to be a public license, used for open source software.

Not the way I see it; the PTC part of it is still under the usual PTC license, while individual components that are acquired from 3rd parties have their own licenses.

The license can be seen under the Mathcad Prime icon on the left > Mathcad Options > License.
