Hello, I am a ocean engineering student and a first time MathCAD user.

I am currently running MathCAD 7.0 Prime, kindly help me out.

You define a function, then try to use it as a variable.   

(Unless there's a good reason not to, it's best to post the sheet.  You'll get much better help!)
